The Company's CSR Policy is formulated in accordance with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014.
The Policy is approved by the Board of Directors and is reviewed periodically to ensure compliance with applicable laws and evolving societal needs.
The Company undertakes CSR initiatives in areas specified under Schedule VII of the Act, which include education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, rural development, community welfare, and other socially beneficial activities.
Preference is given to projects in and around the areas where the Company operates, while also supporting initiatives that create impact at a broader level.
A duly constituted CSR Committee of the Board oversees the implementation and monitoring of CSR activities. The Committee formulates recommendations, evaluates projects, and ensures effective utilization of CSR funds in a transparent manner.
CSR initiatives may be implemented directly by the Company or through eligible registered trusts, societies, Section 8 companies, or other approved implementing agencies, in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Company maintains a transparent monitoring mechanism for all CSR projects. Details of CSR activities undertaken, expenditure incurred, and outcomes achieved are reported annually as part of the Board's Report.
